This page explains what personal data we process when you use zeia-studio.de, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short because we keep the data small.
Who is responsible
The controller for data processing on this site is:
ZEIA STUDIO SRLAleea Trestiana 3, Bl. 23, Sc. A, Et. 2, Ap. 11
040377 Bucharest, Sector 4, Romania
hello@zeia-studio.de
Write to that address for anything about your data. Full company details are on the Impressum.
When you visit the site
Each time the site loads, the server and our content-delivery provider record technical data your browser sends: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. We use this to deliver the site, keep it secure, and find faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). These logs are kept only as long as needed for security and are then deleted.
Hosting (AWS, Frankfurt)
The website runs on servers we use from Amazon Web Services, within the AWS European Sovereign Cloud, located in Frankfurt, Germany. The data needed to serve the site is held in the European Union. Amazon Web Services acts as our processor under a data-processing agreement.
Content delivery and security (Cloudflare)
The site is served through Cloudflare, a content-delivery and security network operated by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes connection data, including your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks. This can involve a transfer to the United States, covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Cloudflare acts as our processor under a data-processing agreement.
When you email us
If you write to us, by the contact link or directly, we process your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever is in your message, so we can reply and, if it goes further, talk about a possible project. The legal basis is the handling of a pre-contract request and our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We keep this correspondence as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, and longer only where the law requires it.
Cookies and consent
We use a small amount of local storage to keep the site working and to remember your cookie choice. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking. When you first arrive you are asked what you allow, and you can change it any time from the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. What is actually stored, and for how long, is set out on the Cookies page. Where a category needs your permission, the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising or profiling. We do not currently load any third-party analytics. If we ever add privacy-friendly analytics, it will only run after you allow it, and we will update this page first.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what data we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- have wrong data corrected;
- have your data deleted, where the law allows;
- have processing restricted, or object to it;
- receive your data in a portable form;
- withdraw any consent you gave, without affecting what was done before;
- complain to a supervisory authority.
To use any of these, email hello@zeia-studio.de. You can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live or work; in Romania this is the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro).
Changes
If the site changes in a way that affects your data, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
